If you believe in organized religion, then you probably know what your bible implies about life after death and reincarnation.
Christians believe that Jesus died for their sins of humanity to achieve salvation in Heaven. Islam believes that life on earth is to prepare them for the next existence and that death is simply a path from one world to another. And, Hinduism believes in reincarnation along with the Jews and Buddhists. Catholics believe that souls go to either Heaven, Purgatory, or Hell depending on the quality of a life lived on earth. At least, they go somewhere. This tells us that a good majority of people believe that something, other than life on earth, exists. We will call it Heaven.
If a three-year-old child insists that he remembers a past life, his last life, and takes you to where he lived in that life, introduces you to the family he was a member of naming each member and relationship to them having never met in this life, and details how he died, then confirmed by the family, would you believe it?
Dr. Ian Stevenson knows all about this through his research on past life regression. Dr. Stevenson had a team of investigators who set out to interview very young children of parents who claimed their was something special about the child allegedly remembering a past life in great detail that could only be backed by the family who lost the loved one. For stories about such cases, read Ian Stevenson's book titled Children Who Remember Previous Lives: A question about reincarnation. You can rent it at the library or buy it on Amazon.
Among the many books that I have read including Life Before Life written by private investigator Bob Olson. This book did not have supporting information or evidence such as references, as to why the author believes what he wrote to be true. As I read the book I was constantly expecting to learn what made him write what he wrote. I wanted to be convinced that the words in his book had some validity. I reached out to the author and asked him for the location in the book as to where I can find his references to support his theories. His brief response did not include any relevant information then he banned me from his Facebook page. I was amused. This book repeated a lot of what can be found in any other book on the subject matter. So, I discounted this read from my research.
Other books that I have read include:
Children Who Remember Previous Lives by Dr. Ian Stevenson, M.D.
Life After Life by Dr. Raymond Moody Jr., M.D.
The Light Beyond by Dr. Raymond MoodyJr., M.D.
Lessons From The Light by Kenneth Ring, Ph. D. (no relation to me)
Journey of Souls by Michael Newton, Ph. D.
Destiny of Souls by Michael Newton, Ph. D.
To Heaven and Back by Dr. Mary C Neal, M.D.
Proof of Heaven by Eben Alexander, M.D.
Life Before Life by Jim B. Tucker, M.D.
Return To Life by Jim B. Tucker, M.D.
I have also, since, heard some of these authors speak about their books and interview on Heaven University hosted by Dr. Raymond Moody Jr.
All of these books include references and / or detailed information on the research that validates the words in these books. I have communicated with a few of these authors including Dr. Raymond Moody Jr., M.D. who addressed a question I had based on his research and writings.
My claim to have communicated with my mother, after her death, was established on my understanding of life after death based on my experiences and over six years of ongoing research. I hope to help you understand it too. If you believe, there is nothing to fear. I am not suggesting that you believe so that you have nothing to fear. I am confident that if you believe, you will not fear death. My skepticism is what would have kept me from believing until I found the proof I needed.
